Our next processing day is Sunday, May 20. The birds are looking great, so we will spend Sunday processing them. If you want fresh chickens, you'll need to come that day to pick them up. Otherwise, they will be frozen, and you can pick them up anytime. IF you want special processing - such as having the birds parted for you (removing the breasts, legs, thighs and wings) you'll need to let us know before Sunday. That has to happen before they are frozen, and we typically don't part the birds unless we know someone is going to buy them. You're welcome to come by anytime on Sunday to pick up some birds, but keep in mind that we process right in the driveway in front of the house. We will likely be finished by 2PM or sooner. So if you DON'T want to see anything, make sure to come in the afternoon. If you want to come by and learn how to butcher a bird, stop by anytime in the morning. If you have a few birds to process, bring them by, we'll take care of them (make sure to check out the PROCESSING page to learn more)
Our next batch of broilers is coming this week, so they should be ready to go by mid-late July! So if you don't grab some now, more will be coming.
